Mine sits on my nightstand and the purple is exactly what I needed for my evening meditation wind-down. It's smaller than I pictured, but the carved wings catch the lamp light nicely, and holding it really does feel calming.
The amethyst has this deep, translucent purple that catches the light beautifully, and it fits perfectly in my palm during meditation. I've only had it a few days, but just holding it genuinely does bring a sense of calm to my evening routine.
The amethyst has a deeper purple color in person than the photos showed, and it feels cool and smooth in my palm during morning meditation. Only quibble is the carving on the wings is a bit rough up close, but from across the room it looks lovely on my shelf.
