The 1000-piece count was the right call for a rainy weekend, and the smaller, intricate cuts kept me hunched over the table far longer than I planned. Alan Giana's dawn landscape has enough subtle color shifts that it never felt repetitive.
The smaller pieces really do make this one a challenge, which I appreciated more than I expected. Alan Giana's artwork holds up beautifully once it's together, all soft dawn colors. Took me a few evenings but I was almost sad when it was done.
Did the 1000 piece version over a rainy weekend and the gradient in the sky was genuinely tricky, which kept it from getting boring. Pieces snap in cleanly and none of them arrived bent or peeling. Alan Giana's lighthouse scene looks even better framed on the wall than on the box.
