The Tin Woodsman is way bigger than I pictured and the riveted joints actually look hand-hammered up close. He's been standing by my rose bed through two rainstorms and hasn't rusted or tipped once. Worth the wait since it ships slow, but he's the first thing guests comment on.
The metal has a nice weathered bronze look that doesn't scream shiny new lawn ornament, which is exactly what I wanted. He's heavier than I expected too, so he stayed put through a windy weekend without any stakes. The heart detail on his chest catches the light nicely in the afternoon.
I was worried a metal statue might look cheap, but the finish on this Tin Man is surprisingly rich. He's about two feet tall and stands steady on my patio even when the wind picks up. The heart detail in his chest is what sold me.
