The warm glow coming from the cottage windows is what sold me — it makes the whole snowy scene feel cozy instead of cold. Took me a few evenings to finish, and the pieces fit together with a nice satisfying click.
The deer half-hidden in the pines were the last section I finished, and they ended up being my favorite part. Pieces fit snugly enough that I could lift a whole corner without it falling apart. Spent a quiet Sunday on it and didn't want it to end.
The deer standing just at the edge of the trees are my favorite part, they look so calm you almost miss them at first. Took me three evenings to finish and the pine sections were tricky, but the snow kept it from getting frustrating. It's already glued and framed on the wall.
