The puzzle pieces have a nice, tight fit, and I love studying the farmer’s quiet moment before starting my own work. It took me a couple evenings to finish, but the peaceful scene made it a relaxing challenge.
The colors in those rolling fields are so rich that I ended up leaving it out on the table for a week after finishing. Pieces fit snugly with no fraying edges, which matters when you're sorting a landscape this detailed. John Sloane's farm scene made for a genuinely calming few evenings.
I bought this for my mom who grew up on a farm, and she recognized that exact feeling of a farmer looking over his fields before work starts. The pieces have a nice matte finish so there's no glare when the evening lamp is on. We finished the whole thing in two sittings.
