I bought this for my mom who's been birding for 30 years, and she actually teared up at the winter scene with the chickadees and cardinals. The pieces are sturdy and the print quality on the feathers is sharp enough that my dad kept pointing out details. Solid way to spend a snowed-in afternoon.
The squirrels sneaking around the feeder made me laugh while I was putting it together — such a nice touch for a winter bird scene. Pieces clicked in snug and I finished the whole thing in two evenings.
The winter feeder scene is packed with little details, and the squirrels sneaking in near the bottom made me laugh while I was putting it together. Pieces fit snugly and the print quality is sharp enough that the chickadees look almost real.
